EDITOR – Jeb Koogler is an Associate at the Watson Institute for International Studies and a former Research Fellow at the New America Foundation. He has lived for two years in the Middle East — mostly in Syria — and is proficient in Arabic. His writings have been published in The Christian Science Monitor, The Huffington Post, The American Prospect Online, and the Columbia Journalism Review. In his previous life, Jeb worked as a carpenter’s assistant. He arguably knows more about drywall installation than he does about foreign affairs. No, but seriously.
